Cheap Fast Highspeed Hosting

Highspeed hosting, fast web hosting as well as highspeed gaming server hosting for business or personal sites.

Cheap & Affordable Fast Hosting Solutions:

Blame your computer, blame your DSL line or blame your hosting company, but if you can’t get highspeed hosting you may have different problems than you think.  Let’s talk about your computer first.  It sounds really simple, but do you have enough memory available on your hard drive to handle the programs you are running?  Is there a way to buy more memory or reconfigure what you have?  One of the worst things to do is be a pack rat and keep running outdated files and programs that you never use. Cleaning house everyday is also essential.  Getting rid of cookies and temporary internet files and then doing a virus sweep is important.  You can also check out your DSL line by hooking it up to another computer and see how fast it runs with other sites, but that may be of little value if your own computer is loaded down.

Next, think about how many emails you send and receive everyday.  The web hosting package you purchased may have said unlimited emails, but do you have enough space to handle them and enough time to sort through them once you get them?  Too many emails lying around can slow things down more than you think.  Did your hosting company give you more than ten FTP users?  If they did, that’s called marketing, and you don’t have to go out of your way to use them all.  Are you installing extra third party scripts and software?  If you are trying to do this on one of the $4.95 packages, your high speed hosting is not a reachable goal.  If you want to keep everything the way it is, that is fine, but you are going to have to upgrade and pay a few more dollars a month to your hosting company.

Every hosting company, including Midphase.com has their hosting packages priced in tiers so that you can get more disk space and monthly data transfer.  If you tell them what you are trying to accomplish, they may even be able to provide you with better and updated software that comes included in the package.

There is another huge thing to consider if you want 99% up time and highspeed hosting.  You have to think about where the server is physically located.  One of the top ten US hosting companies, Hostgator.com can tell you this.  Their server is located in the lower half of Florida.  You may love their service, but if you live in the state of Washington, there will be a delay in transmitting data from across the country.  Florida also has hurricanes.  This may mean some down time if one hits their building.

For other companies, the server may even be outsourced to another company.  This means you may be talking to customer service reps in Boston who are trying to figure out why everything is so slow in Michigan where the real server is.  That’s why they may not able to help you.  But really, high speed hosting is available to everyone; you just have to be realistic, get all of the information from the different hosting companies, and make a few compromises along the way.
